If you like playing the sims 2 I suggest you get this guide it makes playing even more fun. It even has a tour of Belladonna Cove. I found "The Sims 2 Apartment Life Expansion Pack Guide" extremely helpful. It explains a lot like: Social Class, Social Groups, Secret Networking, Reputation, Apartments, Nannies, Roommates (it has an excellant cheat for being able to control your roomie and being able to cancel their interactions if you want to), Building cutom apartments, Everything about Witches (lots of benifits with being a witch that's for sure), New objects, New socials, New NPC (Non - Player Characters), Build mode additions, etc. I found this guide extremely helpful, I never would have figured all this stuff out on my own.
This one is typical of the breed -- accurate about 90% of the time with most of the information I needed to be able to make full use of the Apartment Life expansion pack. I'm a sucker for Sims games and expansion packs and always buy the Prima Guides, too. I feel like the Prima Guides are always worth the money.
Think my Sims buying days are over. The apartment life is awesome. I finally have all the expansion packs installed on my computer. It's been a hassle, via Vista. I doubt I'll be going into Sims 3 considering and amount of money I've spent on Sims & Sims2.
The book took the edge off the overwhelming feeling of all the new items, situations, etc. Very useful and very glad to have purchased the book. I was completely lost in playing the Sims2 expansion until I received the guide. Everything is explained in a manner I understand.
The Sims 2: Apartment Life A must have for the avid Simmer. It is my favorite.
